//Willem typed: "secondly : Lurulu has been finished and handed over to TOR (see the mainpage)"

Beg pardon. I hadn't noticed the information on "mainpage" saying Lurulu had been finished, um, and I still don't notice it. Ah well.

//"(Ppl who fall asleep at the dining table can't be expected to write a book overnight.)" I don't understand the context and this might be due to my lack of understanding english//

Now this depends on what "falling asleep" and "tables" means in your language...

//Do yo mean that Jack vance falls asleep nowadays at the dining table//

Yes, and fell off the chair! It is hard to imagine the creator of the resourceful and indomitable Adam Reith falling off a chair but, tragically, it is a reality. I telephoned, briefly, to offer my services as an expert typist. I promised there would be no charge, and that I would sit quietly with a bag over my head. And of course I gushed a little flattery at him, which (I was surprised to find) he was not adverse to in his own sedate way. He said he had just come back from the doctor - and why - and on inquiry re Lurulu, that (it) was "moving with glacial slowness". He must have meant the publication. (Shrug) And so, fellas, that was my fool-proof plan of getting my advance reading copy! - Beat that!

//Willem: I do however understand that you feel that we act as kids in queue : my mother always told me men never grow up which is exactly what happened, but that's another story.//

The unfortunate possibility that men never grow up cannot be used as an excuse for bad behaviour.

**wink** Donna
