: :...I strongly suspect Advance Reading Copy. Is that right?

: That is correct, but may actually be past tense.

: However, I have the feeling that Willem was looking for an advanced ARC of Lurulu to postpose the suspense of having to wait who knows how long for the actual publication. Don't know, but he may not wish to wait 10 years for an ARC of _L_.

RIGHT: Firstly I would like to lay my hands on an ARC this year, just to keep reading Vance (and not in the third millenium as Gregg suggested unless he has the secret address for the Amaranth treatment)
secondly : Lurulu has been finished and handed over to TOR (see the mainpage)
thirdly: I was curious how many people would jump on "ARC lurulu "
fourth: what do you mean Donna [welcome btw] by:'(Ppl who fall asleep at the dining table can't be expected to write a book overnight.)" I don't understand the context and this might be due to my lack of understanding english Do yo mean that Jack vance falls asleep nowadays at the dining table
I do however understand that you feel that we act as kids in queue : my mother always told me men never grow up which is exactly what happened, but that's another story.

and last: Jerry: you did not tell where you get them. could be a good source for ARC's from LURULU. Could you try and circulate it ? ;-)

summary: desperate for new Vancean reading.
alternatives: Robin Hobb although completely different: it resembles certain elements of vancean writing.
