Don't know about David, but I read all the MacAvoy I can lay my hands on. Particularly nice are the _Tea With The Black Dragon_ and _Twisting the Rope_. Kept hoping she'd write a third, but don't believe it's happened.

Also the _Damiano_ series. Liked those better than the Lens of the World, but all fine reads. Less successful was the _Third Eagle_.

I see there's something on ABE called _The Gray Horse_. Don't know anything about it. I'd buy it if I could find it. Also the _Book of Kells_ which I've read, but don't recall esp.

Likewise find my mild defense of Shea below. I read all 5 of his books last summer and was only mildly displeased with the HP Lovecraft homage, _The Color Out of Time_. OK reading, but horror not fantasy nor sf.
