Interesting idead, I would like to see an anthology of writers whom he resembled but wrote before him. It would be a more varied list than his contemporaries. For an initial sample inclusion i would suggest Dostoevsky, Flann O'Brien, Dickens, Ashton Smith, Gogol, and Voltaire
