Henry Kuttner has written a huge amount, much of it deservedly ranked among the classics of early SF. He wrote with and without C.L. Moore (apparently each had a large hand in the other's work, even when not acknowledged), and the two of them used many other pseudonyms, notably Lewis Padgett.

Before I knew that Padgett was a pseudonym for Kuttner I noticed a lot of similarities between them; similarities to Vance are fewer, but I guess I can see how somebody, once primed with the knowledge that Kuttner used a lot of pseudonyms, might have taken Vance's work to be Kuttner's after striking out in any attempt to find out anything else about Vance.

Probably just about anything by Kuttner is worth reading.
