Did they have any other goodies in ? If I'd known they had "To Live Forever" in Ltd Ed. it wouldn't have been there for you to buy. Who was the recommended author ? I quite enjoy the books of Edmund Cooper, although some of his later ones are quite sexist, or even msyogenic. He often wrote satire/social comment, and the situations/characters in his better books are echos of Vances.
