After reading Philip Bell's note of Feb 11 I went along to Andromeda Books. I met some very enthusiastic and helpfull staff one of whom was a Vance fan. I also found their website at http://www.luckydog.com/andromeda/about.htm.

Andromeda are placing an order for some of the old Dobson Vance editions v.soon so get in touch quickly if you want some. These Dobson hardcover editions are bargains.

In the shop there were a number of Vance hard and softcovers. I bought a Miller signed edition of "To Live Forever", two Ellery Quen books by Vance and a paperback by an author who Andromeda says has a style similar to Vance's . I will post my comments on latter Iwhen I have read it.

In London Forbidden planet has some Vance titles. They are a few hundred meters to the East of the Centre Point building (Tottenham Court Road tube), the street is High Holborn I think.

regards,

Mike
