: I always thought Green Magic was the best, with The Moon Moth next, followed by The World Between. Green Magic has haunted me for many years. Opinions?

As Jack Vance gave up writing in the short story format a long time ago it's seems that this side to his work is rarely discussed. I think there are some really superb short stories perhaps not easy to find that any fans of his novels should definetely try to get hold of if possible.
The very hard to find "Future Tense" collection contains four of his best ever - the wonderful "Dodkin's Job" has to be read to be believed!!!
Other short stories which have had a particular impact on me are "D.P", "Parapsyche", "The Augmented Agent", "The Gift of Gab", and "The Man From Zodiac".
It's quite something to read them in their original magazine format.
