The first chapter of Fools Errant sure reads well, kinda like
a hybrid of Jack Vance and John Morressey.

I did a search in the database of my local library branch
(Toronto Public Library) and doggone if they didn't have a
copy! I placed a hold on it and expect to get it soon.
I suggest checking your local library. If they don't have a copy, ask about "interloan", a service which most libraries
have. This "borrows" a copy of the specified book from any other
library system which subscribes to interloan.

BTW, there is a John Brunner novel, "Catch a falling star" which
has a strong "Dying Earth" flavour and stands up well to
repeated re-reads.
