I agree. Unlike most authors, Vance has a large assortment of interesting characters and worlds. As much as I would like to see new books from all my favorite series, I even more want to meet new hero's and see new worlds. E.C. Tubb's Dumerest is a good example of a 3 or 4 book series that went on about 20 books too long. Tho must say I read and enjoyed just about every one of them. Not what I would want from Vance tho.
