When Suldrun's Garden first came out, I went to a signing Vance was doing for it. I asked him about a plot point, I don't recall exactly, but it was something about why Suldrun didn't use the mirror to escape. He thought for a moment, and then said I had an excellent point, and that he hadn't thought of that. I was so embarrassed! I've never asked such a question of any author again.
