You raise a good point...in this series of books, there are a
few inconsistencies...Reith sees a Pnume close up while in the "Shelters" and the narrative describes its features. Vance describes this as "except for a darkling glimpse in the dungeons of Pera" it was the first time he'd seen one...yet, as you say, one floats on the Draschade, despite Zap 210's later avowal that they can't swim...in Settra, is it Mercade or Cercade? Vance can't seem to make his mind up...just a little quiz here...by what name is Ylin Ylan most often called?
