I agree, it's all very sad, and it does no good to the usually quite interesting level of discussions on this BBS.
I would suggest that some basic rules of civilised conduct be adopted on the net as in "normal" life :
* if someone wants to have a row with somebody, let him/her keep it private. Send him/her a private mail, and proceed from there, if that's what he/she really enjoys (or go onto one of those chatzones where one can get his/her fill ... We bystanders are just not interested.
* retaliation, escalation, in the realm of bigotry, prejudices, loaded nicknames, should be avoided. It always taints the one who uses those methods. And they lead to such evil and misery right this moment,in many countries, that even if they're just words so far on a BBS, they show the worst aspect of humanity.

And by the way, what has "vomit smells" to do with the nationalities of people ??? Are there some ethnically barf-prone countries, and others who are free from this ???

Signed : a garlic-smelling, gauloise-smoking, beret-covered, dirty frog ... and I fly very often too !

PS : note that I used he/she to avoid casting any sexist assumption on the sex of the flamers .... although it is my experience that this sort of attitude is more male-oriented, definitely ...

P.
