And I, as well.
But hasn't Keven Costner sorta fouled us up, with WATER WORLD, which (though I haven't seen, have on *good authority*) did sink like pitched obsidian?


: It would be tough to pick the actors, but I've always thought 'Blue World' would be a perfect candidate for for success at the box office. It's got everything--action, adventure, skullduggery, a great villian, gore and gruesome events, a large-scale monster, even a plot with a far-fetched, ingenious solution. With a reasonable FX budget, sensible direction and editting, it couldn't miss. Or the Cugel adventures? A gold mine for the clever producer.
: On the other hand most 'SF' movies are so embarrassing or poorly done that they dissuade people who haven't tried it from reading the stuff. Maybe Vance would inspire greater things.
