Aw, shucks. I only meant that the BBS would stop functioning. This website is a labor of love, but the BBS is 90% of that labor. (grin)
I too don't personally mind the spam. The problem is that the BBS software is a bit primitive, and after a lot of messages gets unwieldy. Do not fret; I will not abandon this endeavor until a suitable replacement is at hand.
I've received both instructions and a couple messages from the Vance mailing list, so we shall see what develops.
