: : Reminds me of the fact that the Vance story "The Seventeen

: Well , i think I do't want to hear, but you could point out to these types they are seventeen times to late anyway and have to read the story if they want to know how they can imitate Cugel.
: One can wonder if Cugel had a potion or a spell called Viagralis
: superbius.

Not to diminish Cugel's merits (although you must remember the remark made by one of Madame Soldinck's daughters : "Your natural characteristics are really inadequate ... " ), but he modified the status of those 17 maidens in 10 days (or rather , nights since he was employed as a night guard on a caravan ). A 1.7 batting average is no big deal, especially since it's well known that there's nothing more erotic than the rocking of chariots. No potion needed.
