I got all excited when I read about another new Vance novel: The Laughing Magician. I had heard about Ports of Call, but this was new to me.
Is anything known about this book? Is it about Iocounou, from the Cugel series?

Another thing I'm curious about is this: I subscribed to the Vance BBS, and so I get all the messages from the other members, but why do I get every message at least 4 times? Is that standard or is anything wrong?

For the rest it's fun to be in contact with Vance fanatics, just like me. I live in the Netherlands, and Vance is still big news in the SF scene. Hope to hear more from you all.
