: : *What I'd like to see published is a book "Taverns,Hostelries,
: : : and Restaurants of Jack Vance"--- think of where he's been!
: : : in Smade's Tavern on Smade's planet, at the Darsh eatery

: : Ha! : how many Michelin stars do you think a typical Darsh eatery would be apportioned?! Digestion of the harsh Darsh cuisine cannot be easy when some bearded old khoontz is hovering nearby and Whippery Ned Ticket is chastising his Bungle boys to great effect!

: Not to mention the hostess threatening to 'boil up her crotch strap' & serve the result!

: Regds, TomH

True all. But: Can you imagine a true 42 dishes banquet (Durdane)? I almost had something like that in a Japanese restaurant in Singapore.
Regards
Gabriel
