----------------------------------------------------------------For Fastasy buffs Tanith Lee's trilogy "Death's Master", "Night's Master" and "Delusion's Master" available separately
or in an omnibus volume "Tales From thr Flat Earth- The Lords of Darkness" are a must. It isn't horror, but it's about as grim as
"Cugel's Saga" and "Rhialtho the Marvelous" are lighthearted. Her first novel "The Birthgrave" is a feminist fantasy that was extremely well received when Donald Waldheim published her in a DAW edition with an introduction by Marion Zimmer Bradley, wherein she compares the experience of Lee's novel to her childhood discovery of JV's "Dying Earth" series. I don't see much similarity and in the "The Birthgrave" is overated,(IMOO of course,In My Own Opinion) but the trilogy mentioned above is really something you want to read. Moorcock and Lee are both from the UK so fans from the Brit Isles probably know all her stuff. "Cyrion"I've not heard of but thanks for the tip I'll put it on my list.--Dom Ciocca, Jr.
