What I am getting at is: I wish that at the end of the last book, with all 5 Demon Princes slain, there had been more of a summing-up, a recapitulation, Kirth Gersen brooding on a what a long road it had been from the Mt. Pleasant Massacre till now, and what was he going to do now, and was his victory hollow, or was he now going to get drunk to celebrate, etc, etc. A summing-up. Who knows? maybe somebody will write a brief paragraph and post it here....
