As a resident of the UK it was very gratifying to hear his positive views on our county, our respect for tradition, and his general good wishes.
Sadly though the UK he is talking about has elected a party which wants to abolish (modernise) the institutions he approves.
(Before I get buried in abuse, it might just as easily been a right ring party that did this, British left and right are currently almost indistinguisable)
Still, it is an extremely interesting interview, even though Vance does have a tendency to ramble.
More on the interview later, perhaps. What did other people think?
