1) The story that Willem means by about "car-size wasps" is "THE FURIES", by Keith Roberts. Good book.
2) Achwas, a bit about other authors won't hurt here.
But to make it clear: EFR, Keith Roberts (also WELL worth
reading, and Jack Vance have very little in common.
Or maybe they do, since I like them all (Vance first,
though).
