Though impressed by Donna's cast (some of them could have been my choice), I have two objections.
1. I think the actors should speak English, not American.
2. I think Jack is brilliant in not-describing things. Sometimes his descriptions are elaborate, but often his narration is so striking because the lack of details. Wouldn't a screen adaptation of Lyonesse (or any Vance book) take that surplus value away?
