The last digit is a checksum, not really part of the language/publisher/book information. Checksums were used by Remy, Hans, and myself to do a double-check on ISBNs. Sometimes publishers do a misprint on the ISBN, and early on many publishers didn't bother to put the checksum in the books. The checksums often got added to the database for completeness' sake. Those you have are the first editions, but I don't recall if those editions had multiple printings, or not.
