The only adaption by a work of Jack Vance I have seen on any screen, the big one or the small one, is the watered-down TV Movie made from “Bad Ronald.” But what about those teleplays he wrote for the show “Captain Video” in the early 50s? Are those shows ever rerun or sold as video, or do they not exist anymore?
Even if Vance haven’t really been filmed yet, I do sometimes get the feeling that makers of movie and TV shows have been reading him and are drawing inspiration from some ideas in his works.
