I have a Tor paperback edition, 1989 print date, that claims to be the first complete paperback edition. I don't have the Underwood-Miller "Big Planet" and so cannot comment on it. I have the Underwood-Miller "Gold and Iron" ("Slaves of the Klau"), which--to the best of my recollection--is a restored edition.
