Vance and O'Brian are my two favourite living authors, and I have read their books many times - the Aubrey-Maturin series four times (though there is always another added to the sequebce by the time I've finished) and some of Vance's novels (the Lyonesse books, Planet of Adventure, Demon Princes, etc.) perhaps five times. (This doesn't stop me reading other good fiction too!)
