IMHO you're missing the point. Kuttner/Moore were at the top of the class with their stories. Their best stuff has not "dated". So 20 years from now you'll think Jack Vance is dated? I don't think so!! One reviewer (from the 90's) has said of Kuttner's 40's stuff - the stories are ingenious and slickly written, often deploying offbeat humour. Sounds like - JACK VANCE! Some of Jack's early stuff seems dated (like 5 Gold Bands which I love anyway)but most of his stuff (like Kuttner/Moore should be timeless.
